Christie otoh, posed for photo ops on the Jersey Shore, didn't seem able to provide for the poorest people while cavorting with the wealthy 'businesses'.

But Dems feel for the photo ops while ignoring all the complaints from less fortunate victims and now to fine out on top of that he was misusing money that was intended for the victims, is disturbing.

In light of the recent disturbing disclosures concerning Governor Chris Christie's flagrant misuse of federal Sandy aid money, the collective of storm survivors and their allies who organize under the Occupy Sandy New Jersey banner are hereby calling on residents of New Jersey to join us in Trenton in Occupying outside the Capitol starting this Saturday, January 18th, at noon. We intend to maintain our camp through Chris Christie's re-inauguration festivities on Tuesday, January 21st.

They've been waiting a long time to get the help they need. The whole article is worth reading to understand why they are doing this.

Thanks for the link ...

not in NJ - I wouldn't have any idea of what they've been doing if I hadn't put myself on an Occupy email list after Sandy - they sent an email about Occupy Christie yesterday. Over all these months they're still out there taking care of Sandy victims, totally out of the MSM spotlight.

people like Occupy Sandy many would have been forgotten altogether. Christie USED Sandy to get himself elected while even during that time, there were so many complaints from victims which were ignored.

Even here there were people praising him for his 'work' with Sandy victims, which was kind of surprising considering the reports, some from the work of Occupy Sandy, that while the more affluent were getting help, many of the most needy were being ignored.

Occupy Sandy even set up temporary schools for the children in those poor areas so they would not miss too much school while their communities tried to recover.

I wish we had a more free press which should have been reporting on all of this BEFORE The election.

Thanks again for posting this, I wasn't aware of it and I'm glad they are taking advantage of the situation to maybe finally some of the help they need.
