Occupy Kingwood brought activism to a very conservative community.

but kudos to Occupy Kingswood.

And yes there ARE bipartisan issues that we can all agree on. The problem is that the 'bipartisan' agreements that Washington agrees to, are all of the same neo-liberal issues that many on the both the 'left' and 'right' disagree with. The beltway owned media will cover squabbles and scandals drama, but wont touch the venality of our whole system of governance and economics.

Put together a Community Rights group, got an ordinance together, had local voters pass it, and thus kept a 14,000 pig farm out of their area. I can't think of any Democrats that would be opposed to that good bit of work!
