We seem to just keep getting objectified more & more as time goes by.

TV and technology, as wonderful as they are, are not very helpful to our fight for equality.

That was a very good trailer. I missed the broadcast premiere on OWN in October 2011. Going to have to get the DVD!

I'm seeing more "beefcake" shots, that a first glance would fool an average person into thinking mutual and equal appreciation of conventionally sexually attractive gender would solve part of the problem.

However the dynamic is so unequal--- real misogyny, or simply disdain of women has much to do with women being used as commodities. And the--often denied--sexual entitlement of males. Women are Seen as a collection of parts to sell.

A girl from a poor country selling her virginity, an ad selling an expensive car using a glamorous sexy woman, there's a real connection between the two.

Lots of work to be done.
