How not to get banned from the Men’s Rights subreddit

Let’s say you wake up one morning and you decide, for some reason, that you’d like to make it your goal for the day to get yourself banned from the Men’s Rights subreddit.

If you’re a feminist, it’s not hard. I managed to get myself banned there some time ago and all I had to do was … well, I’m not exactly sure what it was I did. Actually, I’m pretty sure I didn’t do anything out of the ordinary, Reddit-wise, other than argue with the regulars there. It’s possible I may have engaged in some light sarcasm. So maybe try that.

If, on the other hand, you hate women, all you have to do is … well, again, I’m not sure. Because earlier today, as one friend of Man Boobz pointed out on the Against Men’s Rights subreddit, a dislikeable fellow who calls himself sciencegod posted an elaborate, graphic torture fantasy to the Men’s Rights subreddit. I’m posting it below as a thumbnail; click to see it full size, but TRIGGER WARNING because it’s very graphic.
--------

It got some downvotes, and the mods deleted the comment. But it didn’t occur to any of the mods, evidently, to actually ban this user from the Men’s Rights subreddit.

Because obviously anything he might ever have to say on the subject of Men’s Rights is much more worthwhile than anything I might ever have to say on the subject.

I asked the mods why they felt it necessary to ban me when they wouldn’t ban someone like sciencegod, and here’s the response I got back:

am I wrong to draw this conclusion:

You have zero influence = you don't have a penis

therefore you are allowed no voice.

furthering the objectification cause or something

all I know is I wear my banning from the DU Men's Group proudly

Pretty telling that "mild sarcasm" pisses them off more than, y'know, graphic torture fantasies.

Why is it that sex and violence are so inextricably linked in some people's (men's) minds? Whereas I've never found torture and abuse the least bit sexually arousing.

a simulation of rape would never be good enough, because if it hints to fake, where is the jack off value? it is not forced. all evidence has to show it real. so who is to say what is real rape a man is getting off on and just simulated.

but get off they do.

it is sick. it feeds the pain. all one has to do is look at the very real Abu Ghraib. they fed off it. escalated it. using inagination to create a growing horror so they could continue their stimulation to get off on it.

nothing different with this. no difference. but, plenty of people justifying it. and about all those that are working so hard to validate the repulsive, are the very men that work the hardest to shut women up, are anti feminist and women. any correlation?

disgusting. i go in and see that thread contiually at the top. damn rape.... so damn important to these men.

fuck

outta here again.

Because it's pretty obvious to me that totally fictional depictions of sexual violence (as in feature films) are unaffected by the current laws or the new one. Real depictions of such acts, and depictions meant to simulate real ones - so that one wouldn't know the difference, essentially - are at issue here.

is sick.

that is why they work so hard to normalize. trying to assauge the sick feeling. trying to validate the abuse of another and getting off on it. that is why so many of them work so hard to tell people.... now, you can not, are not allowed to feel ick. or try to shame. or value judge. cause they already know it is sick. and they want it any way. so they need to normalize it thinking they will feel better. they wont. cause we feel sick with this shit cause it hurts, abuse, does damage to real human beings and unless you are a sociopath, you will always recognize it.

they like to pretend otherwise, though a decade now of this obsessiveness with this garbage is well defining the very young men that cannot get it up for a real woman.

As for the guy's actual posting? Well, let's just say I've read de Sade, 'American Psycho,' Dennis Cooper, all kinds of incredibly graphic shit, and I still found that incredibly distressing - more so because it seems like bald-faced advocacy of such acts, without any irony or qualification.

Who basically writes torture porn occult horror. What's interesting about his writing isn't the over the top--no I don't recommend it--gross out factor--it's the complete lack of sexual titillation even though sex is in most of his books. He'll occasionally toss in an erotic scene to throw the reader off, but is mostly misanthropic horror, with something to piss off everybody. It's misogynistic, misandristic, makes fun of social classes and is absolutely disgusting. If anyone is sexually turned on by his books reflects much more on the reader than the writer.

Now a sick fuck like science god, who is working out anger issues would probably hate Lee's writing, or find the ones that are misogynistic not realizing what that says about how clueless he is, because of the irony.
Same with Rape porn defenders.
