He teaches Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Washington in Seattle.

He usually does a blog update every couple of days or more often if there's significant weather predicted.

This time of year in the PNW, it's typically stormy and windy (like as we speak!), so I check him out pretty regularly.

Some of the information is a bit over my head, but I get the big picture because he is, well, an instructor!
