Question about Twiiter on DU

On my Macs and Iphone when someone post a link to a Twitter feed I can read it in the DU thread. On my PC it only shows the Twitter link and I have to click on the link and go to Twitter to read it.
Makes me crazy and I can't figure out how to see the link on the DU thread.
Thanks.

1. seems like half the threads on DU are no content link to twitter threads.

that's a ton of bytes wasted on rumours, gossip, and fake news IMO

3. I'm butting in here, pardon...

Our internet was out for 2 days so I looked at twitter using my phone. It was a whole new experience and it seemed like I saw more conversations. My normal method is using the kindle or sometimes on a laptop. Do each of them have different software or something (as far as the app goes)? Why does the browser matter?

Thanks

4. Because this has been a problem in the past for certain users on Chrome...

...and if so, I discovered a solution that solved the problem. Before I go digging back over a year's worth of posts/threads though I wanted to make sure it was a Chrome browser...

5. I use Chrome on the laptop...

I guess I just don't know much about how Twitter works. It seems the phone give a much better experience for some reason.

7. Ok, here's what I did when I experienced the same problem before...

...Go to Chrome's "Settings", go to "Advanced", go to "Privacy and Security", and toggle the "Send a "Do Not Track" request with your browsing traffic" off and back on (or on and back off, depending on your original preference.) I don't know why but it's worked for me and others as well so I hope it works for you, too. Let us know...

8. I have firefox but I found the problem.

I was set up to block tracking attempts and when some one post a twitter link it was blocked. I turned it off for DU and now I can see the Twitter post.
Thanks
