About 95% of the time when I try to go to rawstory.com I get this message:

Request Header Or Cookie Too Large

Sometimes (rarely) the page will open, but usually not. And even when I can access the site, clicking on an article will often take me to the same error page rather than the article.

This is a new development --only happening for the past week or so.

(I normally read on a Kindle tablet, but that's not new, so I don't see how or why that would be relevant.)

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

1. Nope, but for me, on IE, I get incorrect SSL TLS error messages,

something about javascript void zero errors. When trying to view rawstory over the last few months.

3. It's happening to me.

Raw Story is one of my go to sites. I haven't been able to log on for about a week.

4. I'm a luddite, so I never can figure out if it's the site I'm viewing that has updated itself

too much for me to view, or if there's an intermediate service provider that's causing the problems.

2. they've been programming all kinds of pop-ups to try to get donations, disallow ad-blockers, etc.

I just don't think they have the best of programmers and they are buggy right now.

It isn't my site of choice, but I do like that they are sponsoring some content from David Cay Johnston so I do try to give them some clicks.
