Does anyone have techniques for doing Advanced searches?

Even if I limit my search to just one day and one forum it times out if I'm looking for a word in all types of posts.

You can modify the search by Forum, dates, subject and author. The only thing you need to know is if you need to change the parameters, you need to start a new Search, it won't allow you to edit your original Search. It takes some getting used to, but it allows you to find anything posted here on DU.3 (since December 2011).

The only issue I've noticed is that you can't edit your Search, have to start a new one if you change the parameters. And I use it a lot since I'm on MIRT. Sounds like it could be a glitch, I'd try asking Skinner in AtA.
