Why does the SUBJECT line support alphanumeric only, no special characters.

Annoying. I just tried using an = and it was ignored.
Accented characters don't work, either. é, for example comes out blank.

If you preview, it will be converted and then the resulting character will be removed before it posts. This happens only with the "title" line so far as I can tell. (Certain characters, such as "@", break URLs within the message text. These can be fixed with the same method, but suffer from the same trouble if previewed).

I have not tried all of the html ampersand codes (haven't had a need). Be sure to end each with a semicolon.
