A dumb question......

Last edited Thu Aug 30, 2012, 05:50 PM - Edit history (1)

...every now and then, when I reply to a post, the words I put in the subject line are greyed. Almost like I'm not supposed to be able to reply. But it posts ok. What gives?

It doesn't happen all the time, just occasionally, and I can't isolate any cause for it. Can someone explain pls?

ETA: it generally happens when replying to the original post, not with subsequent replies. FWIW

...since it seems to be a recent phenomenon. But it hasn't affected the actual posts.

I am under the impression that it is a side effect of us typing before the page has fully loaded and has stopped running any java script.
