What's useful about DU? You get more information quickly than most anywhere, here's why:

Some questions might pop into your mind...others have probably asked and answered them downthread. There is a lot of knowledge among DUers, that's the best reason to be here, is to quickly read the news and to add to your understanding of it from people who have some interesting expertise to add to it.

Late Breaking News is about the quickest and most densely filled with information than almost anything I read anywhere.

I use DU for many things, but I've really grown to depend on the info in Late Breaking News.

People might say this is sappy, but I FEEL better now (years free of the M$M) being able to pick and chose what I want to read about in current events. Like I said in another thread, this place has more news and information then a person could go over in a 24 hour period.
