Question about security.

Let us suppose I send an email to a fellow DU person within the site. I clicked on that mail letter and sent a short note.
So, how secure is that email within that persons mail box? I guess, I should ask, how secure is my mail box? I doubt it matters, since we are being watched , but I had to ask. Thanks for any answers. Stuart G.

1. As far as I know, only the Administrators can read DU private mail.

And that's only when it's alerted upon.

Otherwise, it's very secure. MIRT cannot read DU private mail.

2. What kind of security are you asking about?

The private messages are all internal to the DU system; they are not transmitted or sent any where like real email is.
The admins obviously have access to everything as defined by their jobs.

3. I suspect that is enough to know. I believe this.

That our system is about as safe as possible since we are targets of every right wing idiot from Nome to Miami. Anyway, I suspect that is enough info. Nothing on the internet is that secure anyway.
