but the other hosts haven't been active much at all lately. I've learned that hosting this group puts a target on your back, so to speak, among the gunthusiasts, and that's not very fun.

That was hide number five so your most vocal harrasser is now gone until at least May and his account is flagged for review so hopefully the admins will look at his long history of harrassment and give him the boot for good.

context I couldn't with clear conscience complete the service so I had to dismiss myself.

I have both groups in my subscriptions but haven't really posted in a while. I was wondering for a while that GC & RKBA should have hosts that were evenly divided on both sides but it seems that they've blacklisted people who support GC (and gotten people who supported GC tombstoned).

I have reported posts in the past for being very violent- one said oh look this is what knives do, not guns and posted a picture of headless and limbless bodies. I told the Mod (who is pro-gun) that despite the fact we disagree on issues like guns but I don't like this post and he said "Whoa! I agree with you here." and got the post removed.

I wish there were both sides on the other board but this is good as well. I also wish some posts weren't moved from DU. I remember posting something (US vs UK gun control) after Virginia Tech in General Discussion (I felt it needed open discussion, not just the gun forum) and someone alerted on it and it got moved, I was actually really annoyed because it was a) Recent news, b) Gun issues and c) once it got moved it sank like a stone.

I hope America gets sensible gun laws soon.
