as a handle on a camera or a cell phone, but I don't quite understand your post.

How does some idiot who does use such a device affect your ability to acquire 'nice things'?

National parks were opened up to allow guns, soon there were impromptu shooting ranges firing across park roads and hiking trails. They managed to kill a grandfather roasting marshmallows with his grandchildren.

They get concealed carry and it's not enough, they have to open carry and intimidate people in grocery stores, parks and zoos.

Now Olympus offers an open system camera and sure enough some gun nut designs a pistol grip for it. Like the Iphone pistol grip case, it's just a stupid idea and a way for gun nuts to insert themselves parts of life that they have no business in.

shoulder and pistol grips have been around for a long time. Shoulder stocks in particular for long telephoto use, and there have been special lenses designed to be used with them.

Too bad they are now associated more with shooting bullets than frames.
