5 Amazing Pieces of Good News Nobody Is Reporting

By J. Wisniewski

If you share some uplifting link with somebody on Facebook -- some video of an act of human kindness captured on camera, or this dolphin masturbating with the aid of its little fish friend -- the response is usually the same. "Nice to see there are still heartwarming stories in this awful world!"

In other words, any positive news or trend is treated as the exception, when the overall arc of civilization is clearly downward. The only problem is that it is absolutely not true, and it's actually very easy to prove, as we have made it our mission to point out.

1. Hard to believe...yes, things are graudally getting better over all..

Good news is rarely reported. When it is, no one cares. I recall at another web site I reported and linked to an agreement between the factions in Ireland. They had agreed to stop killing each other ...at least for a while...and it seemed that the killing did stop.
So how many people responded to my post about tentative peace?..no one..., not one response..no one cared

I might add this: As the world reduces the amount of people that live without modern sewage and sanitation facilities, by definition the poverty rate decreases. Now, most would not believe that there are people living without indoor plumbing, but there are. And there are millions of them, but that number is decreasing..thank goodness.
