Owen is a 7-yr-old with a rare condition, Schwartz-Jampel syndrome, a disease that leaves his muscles constantly tense. He must use a wheel chair, is in constant pain, and was too shy to speak to pretty much anyone. Until he met Haatchi, and everything changed.
Haatchi is a 3-legged dog who was found abandoned and tied to a railroad track. After some time in a shelter, the two finally met and something incredible happened. They bonded and became instant friends.
Now Owen and Haatchi are living happier lives and Owen isn't even afraid to talk to people anymore. Their bond is so amazing, they won first place in the Friends for Life category at Crufts Dog Show.
