Red Sonja and Clan of the Cave Bear deserve special mention. There are both bad movies. Really bad movies. I like to watch them just to stare in awe of the badness.

I didn't know this was a hated movie.

The ending isn't all that different from the ending of The Day The Earth Stood Still except Gort wasn't created by humans.

Directed by Peter de Jarnatt.

Yup! The plot is an utter mess, as are the characterizations. And yes Mare Winningham's hair looks wretched, like it was cut with hedge clippers.

But the film basically plays out in real time and within the rather small geological region of LA given in the title. But this film has extraordinary energy driven forward by the equally extraordinary Tangerine Dream soundtrack.

In the end -- and I do mean end -- one forgives this film's excesses as well as its liabilities.

Plus, there is some awesome scriptwriting.

Condoms? What do we need condoms for when we have to repopulate a planet? (from memory)

And any film which features John Agar has to be a B Film. And this one is a damned good one.

22. I actually watched that the other day and did not like it.

I thought maybe I was wrong, because Ebert gave it 3/4, at the time, but I don't think it lived up to the time test.

21. Twelve Monkeys.

It's not exactly a movie that everyone else hated, but for me it is the most purely science-fictional movie ever, and to my dismay many in the s-f community don't like it. I have no idea why. I've seen it several times over the years, and it always holds up.

And in case you were wondering, the totally bizarre and inexplicable French movie "La Jetée &quot upon which "Twelve Monkeys" is said to be based, forget it. "La Jetée " has almost NOTHING in common with "Twelve Monkeys", and worse yet is incomprehensible and dumb. Don't even bother to watch it. Another episode of the Kardashians or any other reality TV show would be a better use of your time. However, if you're looking for recommendations about better use of your time, I'll recommend anything at all on PBS's "American Experience". The episodes aren't readily available on PBS itself, but are on Youtube. Bless the internet deities for Youtube.

23. "All About Steve"

Two Golden Razzies...I disagreed. I thought there was maybe something wrong with me even though I know good movies, so I had my wife watch it and she loved it too, so maybe both of us are nuts.

Or maybe, as time goes by, the consensus will be positive. It is one of my favorite Bullock movies...and certainly not the one in which she jumps a bus across an unfinished bridge.

25. The Wicker Man

I really like The Wicker Man with Nic Cage, which is meant to be one of the most ridiculous movies of all time. I love his over acting!

27. I found the movie interesting the first time I watched it.

I found out it was a remake of a English sixties movie and watched that later.

I don't love either movie, but I don't think the one with Nick Cage was that bad.

He was chosen, because he was a cop who never gave up, and he was tricked and manipulated into the cage to be burned to renew the vigor of their isolated island. I think he played that part well enough. After all he was all about saving a girl, if I remember right was suppose to be his daughter.

Some movies seem to get big time negatives to later receive more acceptance, and I think this one just might...worst movie ever...no way.
