It gets you out of doors, into nature, with a little exercise for good measure.

People that I know who walk regularly say it calms them down and gives them greater perspective on whatever is on their minds.

Plus it's great low impact exercise.

or any of the other workout apps. Having some metrics on your walking can be helpful.

I was never a person who could draw. But I took a watercolor class and the teacher mentioned this book "Drawing on the right side of the brain" It is so interesting and once you can do it a little you feel kind of relaxed and tuned into the drawing only. I grab a sketch pad and just try drawing things sometimes and it always calms me down
