Adrian Wojanowski commented on "The Jump" that the Lakers, Heat and Celtics...

all teams which went late into the Bubble last year are just about to be bounced from the first round of the playoffs...in fact the Heat are already gone. He's got a point. Injuries and exhaustion have taken a toll.

More time should've been allowed between seasons as even the greatly conditioned bodies of the players can only take so much.

Too bad. I wanted LeBron to get another shot at a ring.

Almost no off season. I’m arching but I really loved the bubble last season.

of the OP. They didn't go as far as the playoff teams and therefore didn't have the wear and tear on their bodies from playing more games and having to come back from a shortened off-season.

was too short after the extended season in the bubble and then the playoffs. Embied is down now too.

No need for all the negativity.

With the Wizards floundering, Bradley Beal trade rumors are heating up, and Washington is likely to have no shortage of suitors. Given their dearth of draft cash and tradable assets, neither the Lakers nor the Clippers are projected to be major candidates. Following the Anthony Davis deal, the New Orleans Pelicans now hold many of the Lakers' future draft assets.

9. The NBA draft is overrated.

At one point the Celtics had a ton of draft picks, and yes, they got two really good players, but they don't have nearly enough to win one championship let alone multiple titles.

You cannot build a championship team through the draft alone. You have to put multiple top free agents together in order to win.

12. But how many draft busts did that franchise go through before they got to their stars?

If I recall correctly, there was a real long drought between their Mitch Richmond, Tim Hardaway, and Chris Mullins years to their team today.

Of course there are some gems in the draft, but the overwhelming percentage of NBA draftees are busts.

14. One and done college basketball has killed the draft.

You use to be able to evaluate a player on the college level before they were drafted. Now, it's all a crap shoot.
