Exactly 11 games for Duke. In 2010 and 2011. You probably shouldn't identify him as a typical Duke basketball representative.

However, he is injury prone, and there are times when he feels he doesn't have to show up to play. He was problematic long before the antisemitic tweets.

But since his pure talent is extremely high, teams are always going to be willing to take a chance on him. The Nets have shown they don't have the backbone to try and control his outlandish behavior because Kevin Durant really wants him on the team. Brooklyn management it's gonna do whatever it takes to keep KD happy.

Obviously, Kyrie Irving would never reciprocate the loyalty Durant has shown him. And if the shoe was on the other foot he would throw KD under the bus very quickly because Kyrie cares about Kyrie.

for the last few years, what with the covid vaxx refusal, the extended, mid-season "family leave", the antisemitic crap and on an on...I think his appeal for other teams has lessened considerably as teams don't want problems and bad PR that always comes with Irving.

But let's look at an example in another sport, Antonio Brown in the NFL. He came with VERY BAD PR. He kept getting second, third, and fourth chances. It took him walking off the field in the middle of the game before NFL teams said no mas.

You're quite right. Irving has brought a trail of destruction everywhere he has been. He has screwed over every team he has played on and every teammate he has ever had. He has been a problem long before the vaccine refusal and the antisemitic posts. But as long as someone can play teams are gonna be willing to take a chance on a headache. The Brooklyn Nets have already shown they have zero backbone in dealing with his antics.

Unfortunately, I don't think his current actions are going to change anything. I hope I'm wrong.

He thought he should "be the man" too and he hasn't had a sniff of a championship since he left.
LeBron went so far as giving the ball Irving during the last seconds of a game in the chanpionship
round which Kyrie bricked. He also thinks the world is flat and that he knows more about viruses
and science then Dr. Fauci.

BTW when he was on he was one of the very best in the league.
