Thinking of taking a cannabis tourist trip this winter. I live where it's still illegal except for

strict MM access and I'm not ill. My available choices here are limited and just like someone may take a wine or vineyards tour , I d like to explore what this earth has to offer that I haven't tasted yet.
Any suggestions? What cities are best?
And I will only do cities Must be in the USA preferably mild weather
I'm thinking of Denver but I think it will be very cold there in late Nov early Dec when I can go....but if it offers the best in tourism that may be the place . I live where it gets cold so I have the gear

I don't partake any more, but get it for my brother who has ALS. I lived in WA, moved to OR. Oregon takes your ID and writes all your info down and limits how much you can get a one time. In WA they look at you ID just to see if you are 21 at the door, and as far as I can tell you can buy as much as you want. I don't know about growing operations or anything, just stores. And there are many.

I spent more days in t-shorts than coats the last two winters all the way through Jan. Don’t take my word for it check the weather yourself for that period historically but make sure to adjust for sun. Even a 40 degree day can have a nice hot sun at this altitude.

I moved here a couple of years ago from Florida. Not because pot was legal but because of global warming, Florida only has blistering heat year-round.

Denver is not that cold. The thing is that the sun is so strong here that even when it snows, the hot sun melts it within a day or two. I've been driving in 20 degree weather and the sun burns my skin through the car window. I thought I knew what strong sun was until I moved here.

I'm still getting used to the drastic temp changes - it can be 40 one day and 79 the next.

Here's a website that has cannabis-friendly places and resorts, which I had no idea even existed until I just Googled it:
https://www.budandbreakfast.com

Anyway, I love Denver - the people are awesome, the natural beauty is stunning and I'm sure you'll have a great time!

I’m partial to Oregon because I live here.

Lots of rain in November. Beautiful though. Portland is big and awesome but if you want a more cozy experience come to Eugene. Bonus is there’s quite a few wineries around here and lots of good food too. No sales tax in Oregon (except for the weed of course).

Have fun wherever you go!

I don’t think recreational sales will be available til after January 1st, 2018.

Until then you’ll still need a Dr.’s recommendation to gain entrance to a dispensary.

My suggestion is Portland. Beautiful city; might be a bit rainy that time of year, but shouldn’t be too cold.

The benefit of Oregon is that they don’t record your visit; all you do is show i.d. to prove your age, just like buying beer.

🙂
