I woke up to a message from a PA for Sanders group indicating this, but I can't find any verification. I hope it's true, and if so

That is quite possible, and very likely that these can easily be met.
With the deadline for turning in petitions being between 1 and 4 of February, I do not think that there will be any official word as to how many signatures have actually been collected until a couple of days after this.
They can still dispute these signatures, but if they have even 1/2 of that 100,000, there will be little argument that Bernie has enough petitions to run in NY.
