Most of us know about the RW attempts on FDR that came in many different forms to stop, divert and castrate his policies.
Fast forward to Carter due to his removing the cowboy element, bringing actual conservatism to the populace and economics. As soon as the fever came on to correct some courses to economic stability, here comes trouble from fifty different directions...establishment Democrats sticking it to him, the Republicans having a field day with it, the "hostage crisis", the attacking rabbit and all kinds of miscellaneous things to severely diminish his capability to govern.
It was almost as if Ford threw the 1976 election because the Republicans knew there was trouble on the horizon, then push "a kinder slicker Nixon" in the form of Saint Ronald. Here, today, we have a batch of un-electable Republicans without a leader ala Ford.
Something on my mind. I hope Bernie wins, he will certainly get my vote if he gets the nomination, but I really worry about what will happen if he does win. Call me pessimistic, negative all you wish. We've seen the Republicans in action before and how low they'll sink to push their destructive bullshit at the expense of American blood, treasure and taxpayers.

We elect Bernie...and then we need a top to bottom housecleaning of Pukes and DINO's...from Congress down to the local dog catcher. They all need to go. Period.
