The reception Sanders received — several delegates called him “electric” — surprised Rep. James E. Clyburn, the state’s most powerful Democrat, who took it all in from the back of the hall.

“I really did not anticipate that from Bernie,” Clyburn said. “It says something about people’s thirst and hunger for a real message.”

Merrily, I've sworn to never EVER have a Facebook account, so I'll have to take your word for it! Glad Bernie is availing himself of social media though. A necessity in this day and age. I had heard that he gave a powerful speech at the convo in Columbia. I'm not high up in SC Dem ranks, so did not attend. I hope Charleston progressives will turn out in droves to see Bernie. I'm going to inundate the local media with requests to cover.....we'll see how that goes.

I saw that Bernie is going for a meeting in Las Vegas...I WISH that he would make a few stops in California while he's out West...just to stir the interest and get the media here talking.
