What do you think Elizabeth Warren should do?

And by that, I don't just mean what she ought to do in terms of this election cycle, but also, as it relates to her political career.

So far, I've wished, of course, for Warren to come out and support Bernie. But I like to think I'm realistic, so I figured she'll do what's in best interest for her political career. So I haven't contacted or pushed her in any way (no e-mail, no facebook message, no tweet, no nothing).

But now I'm wondering, is it in her best interest to simply not endorse anyone? Is she gonna be safe? I mean, really safe. Under Hillary Clinton presidency.
Let's not even consider republican win because that will just be a disaster for everyone. Elizabeth Warren and her little banking reform bills? forget about it. Ain't gonna happen under President Trump or President Cruz.

In my opinion, she's already a token liberal in the Democratic Party. They would like to keep her to save face. But at the end of the day, Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi (among others) are not gonna let her carry significant clout within the party.
She can't possibly believe she's under the radar -Hillary's been asked questions by journalists regarding Warren's past statements on the banking bill, she's already come out a few days before IW caucus with NYT op-ed basically saying we should choose wisely because the President could do a lot even without the congress. Two days before the primary caucus. That must have gotten on someone's nerve. (http://www.nytimes.com/2016/01/29/opinion/elizabeth-warren-one-way-to-rebuild-our-institutions.html).
She's been low-key supporting Bernie's agendas. Because why wouldn't she? She is in favor of Bernie's agendas. They are her agendas.

If she does come out in support of Bernie, she'd be de facto severing ties with Democratic establishment, that's for sure. But she's not part of the establishment anyway.
And I don't believe she'll be a serious force in Washington under President Clinton, if not made into a complete persona non grata.
Hillary Clinton is the most indebted democrat to Lloyd Blankfein, Elizabeth Warren's sworn enemy. After the Clintons step into the WH, Lloyd Blankfein's first phone call will be about devising strategies to drive out what tiny fraction of progressives we have left in congress.

I can't control what she decides. She'll do what she chooses to do.
But president Obama, who is not as indebted to banking industry as the Clintons, has once thrown her under the bus already. I really don't think they will treat her right under president Hillary Clinton.

Is she gonna continue being a token liberal in the party? Is she gonna start pulling her weight? Or is it too late for her to do anything? I hope not.

She is one voice but most people don't know much more about her than they did about Sanders when this all started so her endorsement will not produce the electrifying, energizing jolt to the campaign that the media pundits claim. Likewise, her endorsement of HRC would have even less effect. She would be just another of the many Senators who have pledged themselves to Clinton already.

Better for all of us if she just stays in the Senate and continues to work for Progressive causes.

She'll be up for reelection in 2018 and she'll be 68. If she hangs in there for two more terms that would make her about 80. I can see her hanging up her hat after 3 terms and retiring.

And a leader doesn't wait until there's only one candidate to support. A leader steps forward and makes known early on, and tells people who she believes would lead the country in the right direction.

She's shown herself to be a thoughtful, intelligent, serious workhorse in trying to help regular Americans. I just wish she could also have found it in herself to be a leader as well.
