I will ignore unpledged superdelegates until all pledged delegates have been decided

There are 4,051 total pledged delegates in the primary.

Clinton has 91 pledged delegates so far.

Sander has 65 pledged delegates so far.

There are 865 pledged delegates available today.

Even if Clinton won every single one of the available pledged delegates today, which clearly is not going to happen, she would have less than 24% of all of the total pledged delegates.

So we have a long way to go. Every vote in every state matters.

Primary contests used to last a lot longer. We all remember the great tragedy of Bobby Kennedy being assassinated in June in L.A. Bill Clinton didn’t wrap up the nomination in 1992 until June. Having a primary contest go through June is nothing particularly unusual.

Pledged delegates are those elected by primaries/caucuses. They are bound to the candidate for the first vote at the Convention. Some states require the second vote also.
Unpledged delegates are the so-called 'superdelegates' who are not bound to vote for a specific candidate, and can change their minds whenever they like.
