This is the type of strategic error by Jeff Weaver and his team which keeps me up at night. This should have been a DECISIVE victory for Sanders and I will tell you why.

If the Burlington HQ had coordinated properly, it could have mobilized all 2012 senate volunteers who helped Bernie win reelection and parked them in Boston in order to offset the local Hillary supporters' influence.

Another example: back in the summer, I wrote a letter to Burlington HQ exhorting them to invest resources in Texas back then. I even received a very congenial telephone call from a staffmember thanking me for the suggestion. It went nowhere! If I had been heeded, Texas would have been competitive tonight.

The reason is simple:

The Republicans have disenfranchised 4 million Texans. If the Sanders campaign had instituted a large, statewide voter registration drive, most of the new registrants would have voted Sanders.

Grrr!
