In comparison, pro-Hillary posts don't lead to bans in the Bernie group if they respectfully present the pro-HRC case without mocking or denigrating Bernie or his supporters. Protected groups are nice, but I think that as long as the group's focus isn't being attacked, members should remain open to respectful, informative discussion. Your post was wonderfully informative--and poignant, too. I famously read just about *everything* about *everything*, yet I learned info from your post that I was unaware of.

BTW, I always feel both excited and grateful for new info in subject areas that I am already reasonably well-informed about. I was banned for something that was not a bad thing and I didn't even know I was in the Hillary group. I did not even say anything that should have been banned by them. Then I was hidden for things they thought I was saying that I was not. They assumed incorrectly. They judged incorrectly. Maybe I didn't say it in the best way but they totally were ready to kill my voice for something I was not saying. I explained what I meant and even nicely emailed the person in the Hillary group explaining I did not know I posted there. My comment was harmless! And in another hide I mentioned something in an OP that was not about the main subject. Didn't even know I did anything wrong! I feel like this place is not democratic at times. Like freedom of speech is frowned upon or opinions are not accepted. I have seen so many smart ass laugh in your face comments on here egging people on. I should not have been hidden or banned. Does that upset someone when their intentions are not construed correctly. Absolutely. And again I'm Feeling the Bern. #208
