Just got my first hide in four years for an anti Hillary meme.

I apologize to the Bernie Sanders group for adding to the hide count here.

In way of apology, I will donate another $25 dollars to Bernie tomorrow.

I will double that amount if I am foolish enough to incur another hide.

Again, my apologies.

5. I have not received a hide

but I was alerted on for the first time in nearly 15 years for something I posted in the Bernie group that a Hillary fan took objection to.

Face it, they're so think skinned that if you don't at least get alerted on once, you're doing something wrong.

Nonetheless, I will donate $25 to Bernie in solidarity.

Started this place in Erie, in the 90s, though he had been known as a friend to the homeless, the addicted, and prisoners since the 1950's.
He called it "The Ministry of the Marginalized".
Died two years ago.

27. An afterthought

I came here after a work injury and was facing homelessness, as I had no income and it took months for benefits to kick in.
It was in the middle of last years brutal Erie winter.

Am back on my feet now, but have stayed here doing volunteer work, filing for disability now.

During my time here, I have seen exactly what happened to the people when "welfare reform" was implemented, exactly what NAFTA and other "Free Trade" agreements have done - that is, put good men and women I once worked beside in the soup kitchen line.

Small wonder I fight for Bernie.

I have seen firsthand what America will look like if Trump or Hillary win.
