2. It's not so sudden - I've seen it numerous times in comments on the NY Times

I always respond that it would be an insult to Senator Sanders to be subordinate to her.

he would never turn his back on his supporters, or the rest of the country by doing that.

6. The people that Hillary works for would never let her have Bernie as a VP.

To be fair though, she wouldn't want him to be her VP either.

Bernie is not going to do what the Bankers want to have done. So, he won't be given the chance to be one heartbeat away from the Power of the Executive Office.

So, he needs to win the Office on his own for all of our sakes. Even for the .1% assholes that hate Bernie (though they don't get that).

9. We need him in the Senate and, hopefully, he'll have learned from Hubert Humphrey's mistake.

"Once a fiery liberal spirit,
But now when he seeks, he must clear it."

Nope, don't see Bernie in that position.

10. It's Hillaryous! If she wins the nom we need Bernie in the Senate to put a hold on all her attempts

to start more wars, give goodies to Wall Street, fracking, etc etc etc.

That would be a very mis-matched team.

What better way to pull his teeth? Fortunately Bernie won't fall for that.

mostly from people who don't really understand the nature of party politics and how this entire running for President thing actually works. They're somewhat naive, are convinced that both Bernie and Hillary are really, really good people with some trivial differences between them that will magically disappear if they are on the same ticket.

It's the same as the nonsense some years back that John McCain would switch parties and be the VP nominee. People mistakenly thought he was some sort of liberal, which he never was. And changing parties like that was never going to happen.

With all due respect to both Ms. Clinton and Mr. Sanders, they are very different from each other in their policies and their views of how this country should be run and what direction it should go in. There is no way on god's green earth that either one would be VP for the other.
