I have forgave Liars in my life only if they acknowledged it

They have done that and found the ugly truth about myself in the times of my own deception

I have witnessed many betrayals by friends, lovers and persons at work either by denial or all out deception.

that have done that to their own soul and mine

I am only temporary ........... Just like you

and everyone ........

But my time and yours is now and what we have left to live the truth we observe and validate the time we have on now

You all know that what may perceive to be the truth of your reality is distorted by our perceptions of our limited connections of experience and investigation of our realities

The Clintons are dangerous and dangerous path that the world
should not take again.

LIes, half truths, .............. you have seen those on a personal level but also on a national or world level and you know it...

But on the personal side.....I can't deal well with lies anymore without confrontation or rebuttal.........that hurt is real to all of you and I'm
too old and young at heart now for that shit.

Many are suffering from a Ghetto of their mind.

The NAZIS are in control only if we let them but I'd rather die like my children"s grand dad that died in a Nazi concentration camp because he was a labor leader.

rant off

I'm disappointed in Al Franken.

When I lived in California right before he ran and was pumping campaign funds there.

I spoke to him twice when he had his radio program when he was honest.

can become dishonest. I do understand how an innocent child learns dishonesty. But an honest adult?

It begins with lying to ourselves. Once mastered, it's second nature to invoke lies when useful. Self-deception makes a person more believable to others. Takes a life of practice. Clintons are nearly masters of the art. I presume their devotees share their values.

6. Because being around pathological narcissists

changes people. It is like being on a drug. They start saying and doing things they normally wouldn't. Once they are used up and the narcissist moves on to another target, they slowly awaken from a stupor.

At that point they either own up to the facts at hand and become a better person or they go into deep denial about who they are and what they have done.

Nathaniel Brandon discusses this phenomena at length having been one of Ayn Rands young lovers and proteges. Once she tired of him, he began to 'wake up'. He accepted what he did and said. He made it a point now for the rest of his life to help others with bolstering their self-esteem and boundaries so that they too do not become unwitting victims of such predators.

Really appreciate this insight. I have fought so long for my own honesty and avoid the company of liars. This phenomenon is a little foreign to me.

Esp because the clean feeling of honesty, a clear conscience, a heart at peace, is too pleasurable to trade away to egomaniacs. Why would anybody want to lose that beautiful FEELING?

I presume it's because they've rarely, or never, felt it.

So they wear a mask?
Or 2? or 10?

I went to work in a electrical shop that other people there where GOP to bone. Working there for 2 years made me into a (R) too.
This was in 1995 After that I worked as IT for Mcdonalds, still stayed GOP because being around kids working part time you don't get many deep political discussions. Voted for Bush in 2000 and rah rah going to war with Iraq at this time Internet was still new and I was working as a data base programmer for a web shop. For 4 years I read stuff and sloughed it off cause I knew more than those silly liberal who are not out in real world. Then 2004 I said fuck GOP and politics and did not vote. 2005 got a job with newspaper as IT/Web admin till Feb 2007
And even at this time I was still kinda conservative. Aug 2007 I left my job at paper because I got a job with Bank of America and MIT. I was going to be working on some new social media website/banking app. Well I was going to start in Nov 2008 so figured I would go down there because my dad and brother moved back in 2000. So at end of Sept I was called and told the program was canceled because of the crash and thank you. So here I was after leaving my job for a new job losing my new job that I never got to. At that point I started to reevaluate my view of the world it changed my mind on all my views and Now I am a bleeding heart liberal.

So moral of story is it takes a Big kick in your own nutz to get over the brainwashing.

to the brainwashing, way back?

Kids are taught very early not to think for themselves, & not to trust themselves. And by some of the best-intentioned adults in their lives.

So we grow up with heads full of unoriginal thoughts & don't even recognize them as having been erroneously downloaded from questionable sources -- not from our own brains or hearts.

This is the first thing I'd change if i could overhaul early childood ed. "Know your self."

My parents where very inactive in politics. My mother fought cancer most of her Adult life till she died year I got out of Navy. My parents had very little time for politics at all. Father had to work 80+ hours to pay for medical bills. Over 2 million dollars when my mother passed away.

especially after looking inside to check what is my part in the equation. But sometimes I've had to unplug and move away from people who have betrayed trust, investing my life force elsewhere.

This is what has to happen in the collective, we change the whole dynamic by changing our part of the equation. The Nixon Reagan neo con (and neo liberal) power comes from conditioning obedience to authoritarian rule, by putting us to sleep, giving candy and goodies to the compliant and punishing and terrorizing those who do not. The myth is that this model is also inherently righteous. Leadership on the other hand encourages honesty and criticism, and the sharing of information and resources--much like what is seen in healthy or unhealthy personal relationships.

Deciding not to tolerate lies involves not lying to oneself too--tolerating the lesser of two evils is still evil. There are other choices, and life is a series of choices, which are causes that have effects. This is our response-ability, to respond to the best of our ability.
