"You've gotta vote blue, no matter who"

I see it all the time... this meme of "no matter who, you've gotta vote blue".

I'll admit, it's a catchy line... and I understand that many hold this as a legitimate belief. But I want to talk about those who belong to the #Bernieorbust crowd. Namely the 33% of Dems who simply will not, under any circumstances, vote for Hillary... and how this quote has been weaponized against them.

We all want to see a liberal take the white house...and everyone here want's to see Bernie win, trolls and Hillary supporters not withstanding. But there is a fairly strong argument being posed... the argument is that Hillary is a DINO (Democrat in name only), or republican lite, based on her pro corporate actions.

I don't think any Bernie supporter would disagree there's a whole host of reasons to not vote Hillary (Which inversely acts as a reason to vote FOR Bernie). For 33% of dems, they see her status as a Trojan-horse for corporate interests as a substantial and egregious threat to our country... enough of one, they don't see much difference between her and a war-hawk republican. So, they've decided they absolutely cannot vote for her. Oddly enough, the Clinton camp is re-enforcing their position.

Shortly after the statistic came out about the 14% who would refuse to vote for her, a suddenly an explosion of people came from nowhere, inundating blogs and news sites... lambasting Bernie supporters with the: "no matter who, you've gotta vote blue" meme, along with all manner of insults and "it's her or the republicans" fear tactics and smears.

Now, combine these vote-blue attacks with all the dirty tricks being used by the Clinton camp, and you have the argument that Hillary is setting up the public to accept a theft of the primary.

Right or wrong... real or imagined, the argument is reasonable... especially with the dirty-pool-tactics we've already seen from Hillary.

With the recent increase of Bernie or bust members to 33%, the attacks have intensified.
The irony is those attacks trying to force people to choose-blue, are the very same ones pushing people solidly into the Bernie or bust crowd.

Because, regardless of who gets in, a republican controlled congress with simply go home for the next 4 years and get nothing done, and blame democrats the whole way.

there is no questioning that and I would recommend that everyone do that.

As far as the President is concerned, we have to see how things play out.

In that situation, you've been successfully cowed into submission. Your priorities no longer matter, you can be safely taken for granted.

Hillary campaign is the exact same movie with the role of the real star changed from Obama to Sanders.

Just look back at her tactics in '08....."he can't win, inexperience, naive, can't get any of his BIG ideals through Congress, smears/lies, etc. etc....Repeat.

The one bullying/insulting tactic that I get in my local online newspaper is that I'm a "Republican troll" when defending Bernie.

While I am not a registered Dem, I have voted for Democrats 99.99% of the time since Jimmy Carter but can't stand insults("I'm a Republican&quot or bullying.

One more thing is what I find stunning is that as a avid Bernie supporter that I find myself defending him from some of the very same tactics that Republicans have used against President Obama for the last 7+ years but coming from Hillary supporters....."free stuff" is my fav,
