7. Misspoke? Maybe she trying to say the "common cold" and it somehow left her mouth as "AIDS?"

And, as jberryhill points out, Nancy was not a trailblazer in Alzheimer's either.

If we want to talk trailblazing astrology, Nancy's our gal. If we want to talk humanitarian, Nancy is not our gal.

It was easy to believe that she was an icon of the left when we had a common enemy. But the sands have shifted and her foundation is revealed. Watch her eyes, she is in her zone. She did not jump the shark, she is the shark.

How can she support Hillary to the point of shilling for her? It's just embarrassing!

6. When she had Claire McCaskill on and tried to talk her into running for President I had to pick up

my jaw from the floor.

Not only is Claire to the right of Hillary but she is not presidential, at all.

And Hillary will never be a challenge to her bank account or burgeoning portfolio. She is also perceived by the majority as having the better chance to win, blah, blah, blah.

11. A clear, unqualified "I'm completely clueless about LGBT issues, and I'm sorry"

would be more appropriate, unless Clinton's intent was to throw LGBT folks under the bus in order to woo moderate republican LGBT haters into her camp.

13. "I'm sorry" doesn't mean much when it's not directed at anyone specific

Twitter is very convenient because you can get away without spelling out what you're actually saying. In this case, Clinton could be saying, "Boy, I screwed up again, and I'm really sorry I did that because it puts me in a bad light."

What she really needs to be saying is, "I apologize to..."

"I apologize to the family and friends of those who suffered and died while the Reagans were laughing about the 'gay plague.'"

"I apologize to the LGBTQ community who have seen their needs minimized and been accused of intolerance when they call out the bigots who attempt to dehumanize them."

"I apologize to the young people who continue to suffer disproportionately from homelessness and suicide in a society that still scorns and demonizes them in private almost as strongly as the Reagan administration did in public."

If Clinton is *really* sorry, she needs to spell out what she's sorry for and who she injured by her remarks. Lacking that, her words are meaningless.

Maddow has lost all credibility. Apparently, GREED TRUMPS INTEGRITY now.

Shame-on-her.
