Climate Change Is the Greatest Threat Facing Humanity and It's Much Worse Than Previously Predicted

I've worked in the field for over thirty years and the current temperature rises are at the extreme high end of the prediction models. We CANNOT ignore the problem - we must take drastic action NOW if we give a damn about our children and future generations!

Bernie Sanders is the ONLY candidate we can trust to do the right thing with this life threatening, civilization threatening disaster.

that pesky itch.

Why do humans think they aren't subject to the same natural selection as every other species?

postulated just such an argument.

I know that the Gaia Hypotheses is looked down upon by many, but we puny humans know so little...

Some of us have been telling them this for almost 40 years.
Do they listen? NO!
I still don't think that they are going to listen.

People who are just coming around need to understand how fast it's proceeding!

I pulled out a copy of An Inconvenient Truth to check some things last week and I was not surprised to see pretty much exactly what was forecast at that time. That was 10 years ago now people! Imagine what might have been done during 10 years if we hadn't had to fight Big Business and our own Congress.

It's taken this long to agree it MIGHT be more important than gas, oil, corporate pollution, beef farms and whatever else produces the noxious gases that will continue to produce an increasingly inhospitable climate and habitat for humans and animals alike.

I'm so sad about how much progress has been denied and delayed by our own government since Y2K.

It makes me realize anew how important it is to get someone into the White House who understands climate change and whose strings aren't pulled by corporations.
