Palin Cancels Trump Event After Husband in 'Serious' Snow Machine Crash

Sarah Palin canceled a campaign stop for Donald Trump in Florida on Monday after her husband Todd was injured in a snowmobile crash in Alaska.

A source told NBC News that Todd Palin was in "a very serious" crash Sunday night and is currently hospitalized in intensive care.

In a brief unplanned appearance before Trump's afternoon event in Tampa, Palin referenced the "little wreck" and thanked audience members for their prayers.
The former Alaska governor stopped by the Trump town hall in Tampa but canceled her other planned appearances with the GOP frontrunner, whom she endorsed earlier this year. She has been in contact with medical personnel and will be traveling back to Alaska today, the source said.

He was in Intensive Care after a Snowmobile Accident.

Suddenly after I got home from work...Sarah is giving an Address to Trump Campaign in Tampa where she mentions her husband is in hospital in Alaska...while not explaining why she cancelled her appearance in Tampa and then suddenly showed up for this Tampa Event where she literally sounded "Unhinged!"

Was the story about Todd made up that he was in Intensive Care? If it was real...what spouse leaves their partner when they are in Intensive Care to take off to a Political Event?

What does that say about Sarah's Integrity that she would forsake her Husband and father of her Many Children to Support Donald Trump when she ALREADY Crashed and Burned in her last attempt with McCain where she would be VP.

Todd Palin, husband to former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, was seriously injured in a snow machine crash in Alaska on Sunday night and is in intensive care, a source close to the Palin family told CNN Monday.

Todd Palin is in serious but stable condition, Kevin Kastner, executive director of Iron Dog Inc., told CNN.

Kastner says Palin is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday and the family seems to be doing “pretty well.”

Palin was out on a recreational ride with family but was found by a bystander at the time of the accident.

Sarah Palin participated one Trump campaign event in Florida on Monday, but canceled another so she could return to Alaska.

“Thank you guys for your prayers for my husband who is recovering now in ICU after a little wreck on a snow machine,” Palin told an audience in Tampa. “All these real life issues that happen it really does put things in perspective, doesn’t it?”

Earlier in the day, the campaign for GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump issued a statement saying, “Todd Palin was in a bad snow machine accident last night and is currently hospitalized. Gov. Palin is returning to Alaska to be with her husband and looks forward to being back on the campaign trail soon. Mr. Trump’s thoughts and prayers are with the Palin family at this time.”

Palin’s cancellation comes two days after Trump scrapped a rally in Chicago due to protests. The number of protesters at Trump’s rallies has grown over the past couple of weeks.

The 2008 vice presidential nominee endorsed the business mogul in January.
