Can someone explain one effing thing to me?

Why is it when I turn on CNN John King is at his map pointing out all the states that Kasich can win in the quest to stop Trump but Bernie needs to drop out?

Kasich won one state - Ohio! His state (I know it's not his home state - but he was guv there).

If the only state Bernie won was Vermont, and people said Bernie should drop out I would say - ya, he probably should.

And Cruz! Cruz has 411 delegates Bernie has 851! No one is saying Cruz should drop out.

There are still 2038 delegates up for grabs on the Dem side ~ 1061 on the repug side.

So again I ask - can someone please explain to me why the fuck (sorry-I'm pissed) Bernie should drop out but Cruz and KASICH are viable candidates?
Anyone?

It's so very wrong to portray the other candidates in this way.

It's patently unfair. The "rules" are inconsistent, to say the least.

I can still watch videotapes on it. I have one videotape, Slingblade. I've seen it already.

I got it in 2000 when I cracked 2 weeks into the "election count." Before that I hadn't owned a TV for 10 years.

I was mostly watching cooking shows toward the end. I can easily replace them with online resources now. It's such a sold out shitty horror show I just don't see the upside anymore.

No point watching US news about politics. Same story every day. Nothing about the people and our issues.

The owners of this country do not want Bernie to be president.

They have convinced the majority of the people that they have no

right to decent pay, health care, equality, or peace.

Many people do not know how many social programs and advantages other

countries have.

I wish Michael Moore would put his new documentary 'Where To Invade Next'

on the internet for free.

interviews about it.

I am an agoraphobic so I will have to wait until it comes on cable or the internet.

I have been trying to get my sister and brother-in-law to go see it.

They don't watch documentaries.

They don't have the internet because they don't want it.

I just wanted them to see all the advantages other countries have that we don't.

My local Bernie chapter is largely made up of business people and entrepreneurs making at least $250k. And they're no less enthusiastic and dedicated than anyone else. They're willing to sacrifice for the greater good. It just makes us all stronger.

someone was lamenting that Bernie had not shown up at all on TV.

This morning, when I awoke to the Amy Goodman show, Democracy Now!, I learned that not one of the networks had bothered to go to Bernie Sanders' speech, but instead spent that time talking about how they would soon be going to Donald Trump.

The lack of coverage for Bernie is beyond appalling.

video clips.

But my important point is that since I listen to her I feel I am quite well informed.

What's most interesting about not having a TV is that I miss certain things. The one I'm most struck by is the death of Michael Jackson. I was at work that afternoon, and a fellow employee who was cruising the internet called out to those of us in that small office that he'd died.

It wasn't until some months later that I realized that all the networks had gone to full "OMG Michael Jackson is dead!" coverage, and I can no longer recall just how it was that I figured that out. I do recall that I couldn't figure out why MSNBC hadn't put up Rachel Maddow that evening when they normally did, but sometimes it took them longer than usual, so I shrugged it off.

What I like best about so rarely seeing MSM coverage of anything is how removed I am from conventional wisdom. I wind up deciding all sorts of things on my own, rather than being swept up by the coverage of some event.

In a related area, I sort of like the show Big Bang Theory but haven't gotten past the first few episodes because of the awfulness of the laugh track. Honest, I don't need that. If I could watch that show (and others) without the stupid laugh track, my life would be almost perfect.

too many programs have background audio to build up tension or affect the audience in some super hyper way to excite viewers. so, i mute many programs due to ptsd and acute anxiety. the screaming and applauding decibels on entertainment shows also affect me negatively.

IMO the regular watching of screaming TV is a stress on the body. Elevation of stress hormones and all that. And the relentless flow of vomited info--hitting the senses in jerky high speed chunks --moving on before the nervous system can even process it--humans are not geared for this, at least not yet. It's affecting the whole culture.

I used to totally respect Chris Hayes and Rachel Maddow. Now it is all about convincing us how Bernie can NOT win, examined from every frickin angle. Every show, every night. Why won't you just give up Bernie? All the evidence says you can't win. Just tell us what we want to hear!

Why do they want him to quit? Doesn't having him in the race make our political system stronger? Isn't DIALOG and the exchange of differing points of view the foundation of our democracy? We have only experienced half of the primary season and they are already bored!

I've given up on trying to comprehend their greed and disregard for anyone of the underclasses. They absolutely do not want to hear what Bernie is saying. It undermines the whole corporate oligarchy, and they for sure know which side their bread is buttered on.

They want to move on to Hillary vs. The Donald. They are done with anything less than all out war. Welcome to the World Wide Federation of Political Wrestling. You can see them drooling for the smackdown and it is disgusting. Ooooh, riots. Can't you see them widen their eyes and smack their lips in anticipation?

I feel so sorry for the young people, my son among them, whose fate is being decided by the media and these corporate overlords. How do they live with themselves? How do they sleep at night? Can it really be all about the dollars and the power and having the last word?

So their networks are turned off, if only in self defense. Who can take the negativity and discouragement? We don't even get to vote here in California until JUNE, three months from now. Well the hell with them. I'm voting in June and dammit I'm voting for Bernie Sanders.

Screw them all, it's my country, and my government and my choice.

Now I listen to Thom Hartman and watch TYT once in a while. I tuned in to watch Bernie on Rachel but that's it.
