When Skinner made his recent announcement, I commented that I had more questions than answers. Today my "Ask the Administrators" question got a reply, I had posted a question when KOS did their obvious bias thing a few weeks ago. I replied back today.
I may be shown the exit DU door, if so, it was great working with you all.

I won't be hanging around for that episode. Watching people fawn all over someone like her, just isn't my cup of tea.

(4,879 posts)Skinner has managed to do two things this election cycle:
1) Every announcement further muddies the waters of what DU is about.
2) Every announcement further clarifies what Skinner is about.
I personally have enjoyed your thoughts here.

(45,251 posts)against you. Advocating for not voting or for voting third party or for voting for anyone other than the Democratic Party nominee violates the Terms of Service, which you should read, if you have not read them already.
If there is a clear nominee for the Democratic Party, you may criticize the nominee, but only up to a point. Where exactly that point is is not necessarily clear.
If that does not answer your question, them please make your question more specific.

(2,450 posts)See, this is so vague:
If there is a clear nominee for the Democratic Party, you may criticize the nominee, but only up to a point.
Where exactly that point is is not necessarily clear. --- exactly.
I will advocate for others to vote however they see fit, I do not advocate for conformity for the sake of conformity.
Another question, what if you live in a red state and your vote in the general isn't going to make a difference anyway? If someone wants to write in their preference, were the preference not on the ballot, does that count against him?
What if it's a vote for the Greens in a red state anyway? So now are we going to have a different set of rules for people depending on the state they vote in?
It's just such a messy way to do things. There is a reason we are not republicans.
I'm just sayin'

(11,546 posts)He may not want to answer that question at this time. Let's face it, it's precarious right now. The Democratic party can demand loyalty but they aren't getting it as much as they would like. And if they tell those, like us, who are independents/progressives/ etc. to tow the party line or be on our way, they may lose a lot of support further down the line. That's not good for business!
