In Santa Rosa, CA

Up here in Sonoma for a dinner that I will not enjoy, so was moping a bit as I got my case from the car. Thanks to the lady in the blue pickup for the honk, "Yay, Bernie" and thumbs up when she saw my bumper sticker. I will still not enjoy the dinner, but my mood is greatly improved!

I've been in NoCal since 1985 and it is really different everywhere. Tons of people, traffic, money, not as much of the weirdness that made the Bay Area fun. And, expensive as can be! I'd never have been able to move here at today's prices.

If you're a long time resident, though SR may be too far, PM me and I'll tell you.

Do miss the wine tastings.

Haven't heard the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band in years. Loved the '70s photo. Gawd, we all looked bloody awful that decade!
