You are a warrior, mama. You'd be so welcomed in the circle of ladies I've come to know in my neighborhood. Most of us have lived that life of poverty and hardship, and to a one are some of the toughest, grandest, most generous women you'd evah hope to meet!

They DO take on the neighborhood tweekers, vandals, etc. We all decided that we were old enough we didn't have to play nice any more - we be grey, cranky, and speak our minds. At high volume.

It does get results sometimes. Two abandoned properties on the block cleaned up of trash and druggies. No more meth heads shooting up in the parking lot next door - they moved rather than get risk getting arrested again , etc.

It's a rough area with lots of seniors and single moms that have spent years hiding in their homes, and are now starting to come out in the sun. If one calls for help, the rest come running. I'll take it.
