(13,091 posts)I am #23 or #24 on their ever growing list.
I think it is almost up to 700.

(1,342 posts)The last I looked there were 724 on their banned list. It appears that they LUV their echo chamber.

(6,604 posts)Interesting to see what they're up to sometimes, though.
They continue to expend a great deal of energy:
1) alienating everyone who refuses to goosestep to the Clinton drum, and
2) alerting everything in sight.

I suggest you trash the Hillary group altogether and regularly trash posters who have Hillary as their favorite group. It's the best thing you can do to maintain a cheery outlook!

(18,791 posts)And crap like that speaks volumes about her supporters.
They want you to shut up, get in line and do what the Third Way Entrenched Elite Establishment DINOs tell you to do...all with no discussion.
I say, Fuck that Shit.

(11,862 posts)I am an old lady who would have to hold her nose to vote for clinton.
I am at the age and gender at which I 'should' vote for Clinton..hell I have three granddaughters, but I would love for them to be able to go to college...since our family is not rich...
Rather than have their future husbands go to war!

(5,506 posts)Chin up, kiddo, they banned me a couple of wks ago, #659 banned. The only time I've ever been banned since I joined in 2006. To me, that shows what they are made of. They are apparently a "closed society" and not a "big tent".
Looks like they are running off/offending over 700 Democratic votes for her. IF she wins the primary, you'd think they wouldn't want to burn that many bridges, huh?

(14,177 posts)So, I don't know how the thread I responded to even showed up on the latest threads page. But, it did and I said something to a poster on that thread that had nothing to do with Hillary and it wasn't even a critique of the content of the post I responded to. I just told the poster that their response had nothing to do with the OP and it didn't. I can't say I got shook up by the experience. I just look at it as an added layer of protection keeping me from having to explain facts to the acolytes.

(1,217 posts)I had no idea I wasn't allowed to express an opinion on something on "Greatest" list. Turns out post originated in the "Hillary" group, so even though it was mixed in with Greatest, I got an email telling me I couldn't post in Hillary group "anymore".
a) I'm not in the habit of noticing origination of posts in Greatest
b) My comment was pretty benign ... I'm not a flame thrower or troll
Feels like DU ain't what it used to be. Will I get banned for saying THAT?

(4,950 posts)discussion of current political events. I gave up on that here some time ago and decided to follow the smart people with a sense of humor. It is evident that the word Democratic has become a label for a party, not a discrete progressive political identity who's values were defined by FDR and further refined by the Civil Rights Era, the peace movement and the social policies of Lyndon Johnson. It's current incarnation resembles the Nixon Whitehouse skewed to the right.
did the smart people with a sense of humor go?
