Upbeat vibe, long line await Sanders rally in San Diego

San Diego — Thousands of Bernie Sanders supporters have been converging on the San Diego Convention Center for hours Tuesday afternoon, upbeat but getting weary as the long line snaked nearly a mile from the location of tonight’s rally.

By 5 p.m., the line wrapped around Embarcadero Marina Park and showed no sign of letting up as dozens of new people arrived each minute hoping to hear the Democratic presidential candidate’s address.
