Exit Poll in Arizona showed Cruz and Sanders leading

Exit polls conducted by The Daily Courier on Tuesday, March 22, showed Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas leading businessman Donald Trump 50 percent to 33 percent overall, with Ohio Gov. John Kasich garnering just 8 percent among voters polled.

The remaining 9 percent were what might best be described as “protest votes” for candidates such as former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, and Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, who had already dropped out of the Republican race for president.

Cruz was essentially in a tie with Trump in Prescott. However, in Prescott Valley, an exit poll suggested that Cruz was well ahead of Trump, by more than a 2-to-1 margin, according to more exit polls during Tuesday’s Presidential Preference Election.

Democrats in both locations were trending much more strongly for Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont than former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton; 62 percent of respondents favored Sanders with just 37 percent voting for Clinton.

just saw a poll on MSNBC that said will you plan on voting for Hillary for President in 2016. The poll shows 84% saying no at 116,000 and yes at 19,000. I wonder if this is a look into the future.

Exit poll IN Arizona, not "for the whole state of Arizona."

Reading comprehension. It matters. So does the fact that this is a protected group, which I hope you will eventually be courteous enough to see your way out of.

our primary is June 7th, same as CA, MT, NJ, ND and SD. I'm not real optimistic because in our last primary (top of ticket for governor) we had a 20% turnout and the Dems nominated the worst candidate EVER, Gary King, who was crushed by the evil Suzanna Martinez. UGH.

Santa Fe and Northern NM are the progressive areas and ABQ and south and east we call 'Little Texas', conservative Dems.

of election fraud, I would say its a coincidence. But there are WAY too many instances to call it anything but intentional. I am not suggesting who was the mastermind behind it, but it needs to be investigated and fixed. This isn't a "nothing to see here folks" as Hillary's camp is saying, because this could ruin whoever the candidate in the GE.

But, since the media darling candidates won, the media will probably just ignore or shrug off as not significant this like everything else that hurts either Trump or Clinton.

I'm a Sanders supporter, but I don't think this exit poll means much. It only covered the towns of Prescott and Prescott Valley, which together make up about 80,000 people. But the whole county has over 200,000 people. So you can't really compare the exit poll results with the county results, because they could be very different, especially since there's often a big town vs. countryside difference in voter preferences. Plus, we know almot nothing about this exit poll, which only gets one paragraph in one article in a small town newspaper. Chances are it had a very small sample size.

I think more telling is some incomplete data I saw that showed that with about 20% of the voters on election day across all of Arizona, Sanders had 50% and Clinton had 50%. Whereas Clinton did much better with early voting. That says to me that if more of the provisional ballots in Arizona are counted, and there's a lot of them due to all the trouble, Clinton's lead should narrow and Sanders may pick up some more delegates.

The members of the United Nations(including US) have condemned elections based on them.

They became inaccurate within the United States after 2000, with the introduction of electronic voting machines and electronic vote counting machines.

Perhaps it is because of fraud and election rigging, or people just not being straightforward on their choices.
