Policy, principles, issues, they don't know and don't care about that. They just care that Hillary wins. The fact that they can't even argue policy or state why they support her tells me there is more to this than them being true Hillary supporters who just happened upon this site. A lot of them couldn't defend policy when the defended Obama either. It's just about defending the status quo, defending the establishment.

They have thrown principles out the window. They don't care about civil rights, privacy, environment, protecting our troops by not sending then into war, health care, how bad the TPP is. They don't even care about voting rights anymore after Arizona! They only care about their leader. It's scary.

But they are on the wrong side of history. The movement has started and they cannot stop it. They may keep it at bay for another few years, but within 10 years they will see they were wrong, or if they don't think they were wrong, they will see they have lost.

What fucks me up mostly is that a lot of times I don't know what I'm processing.

When I think problems of I/P, I think "nationalism" and definitions of who is "national".
When I think problems of Iran, Saudi Arabia, I think "religion" and definitions of who is "religious", and this is very similar to how I think of problems of I/P. Something about it doesn't seem amenable to reason.

When I think problems w.r.t. Hillary Clinton and "third-way" I think $$. Only $$.
I think BrockPAC. I think of the money flow.
Because I tell you truly, if I were offered a nice sum of $$ I'm unsure if I wouldn't start "evolving" too. Like some I've seen turn 180-degrees on a dime, on DU.
$$ is a proven grease.

This is only a guess, but it's a guess with a fair degree of certainty, but I think a lot of what we're reading in online articles, hearing from pundits, reading on forums, is paid for by PACs.

Even though right now people with 5 hides aren't on vacation, as soon as the primary is over you can bet that Skinner will change that and everyone who has 5 hides will go on vacation immediately without notice (especially in the worst case if Clinton wins). They are laying the ground work for this. It only makes sense based on their motives. Skinner will play right into their hands.
