Hope she's okay. I know she has some health issues. But when the amnesty was announced,
I thought she'd be back.

(20,582 posts)Maybe after having to serve so many full time outs (I know all about that!) and knowing - proven by screenshots - they were out to goad her to purposefully get her posts hidden, she just got disgusted seeing all those that fully deserved their time-outs being allowed back in with no repercussion. It wasn't fair and I wouldn't blame her. That said, I hope her health is ok and that she'll be back soon. It would be great to see her able to post and not have to worry about the alert-stalkers, now that there's really no penalty.

(25,816 posts)although I wouldn't blame her being bummed about this place, I think she'll be back. She's a fighter.
That's why I wonder where she is.

(20,582 posts)She definitely is tough. This place has lost way too many good fighters .... it needs cali back.

(1,342 posts)Is this related to that?
I know I am banned from serving on jurys because I am a Bernie supporter. How far will the DU owners go?

(26,549 posts)And she has not been PPRed.
(Easiest way to get there is to go to your profile page - hit the red "Jenny_92808" near the top of the screen. Then replace everything after the ~ with the user you want to see. In this case, change ~Jenny_92808 to ~cali)

(11,175 posts)I agree with you that a PPR would be on her profile page but a jury ban is different. When Skinner announced the amnesty, the same post announced that some people would be banned by the admins from serving on juries -- and that the ban would be secret:
The "Going forward" phrase is ambiguous. It could conceivably mean that the ban would be employed only based on post-amnesty edits. Alternatively, it might be a recognition that heretofore there have been no jury bans except those incident to hides, but that now the admins will start banning, based (if they so choose) on older edits.
I personally don't like surreptitious banning but that's the new policy.

(2,334 posts)Is this because I am a Bernie supporter? Did the same thing happen to HRC supporters? I feel in the dark....

(14,691 posts)to me too - I wasn't getting jury notices after "the announcement" and previously I was geting several a week. I started a thread about it and another DUer looked at my profile and another Bernie supporters and "willing to serve on jury" had been switched to "not willling" I swtiched it back and told the other DUer too. Now I'm wondering if there is some "vote flipping" going on here too.
P.S.: Since I switched it back to "willilng" I've gotten several jury notices.
