Bernie Sanders' healing wounds between Muslims and Jews, rapidly gaining Arab-American support

It appears that the reason he is appealing to a great many Arab-Americans has nothing to do with his ethnicity at all, however, he is getting lots of support based on his positions on issues of concern, and his obstinate refusal to buy into the islamophobia being pushed by others. making them look like the bigots they are.

“A number of media commentators wondered why the first viable Jewish contender for the presidency would be winning support from Arab and Muslim Americans. The answer appears to be simple. Sanders won Dearborn [Michigan] the same way any candidate wins any constituency: by listening to its members and responding to their concerns.”

Anyway, I think this is just great!

choice America faces. Trump's Capitalist Socialism or Bernie's Democratic Socialism.

The choice seems moreso between Trump's bigotry and xenophobia / Bernie's empathy for all people.

new. Arab Americans have been for Bernie since he announced that he is running. The Palestinian people have been sufering for more than 60 yrs. They deserve a just solution to their plight.

Things in the ME got much worse after the rise of Al Qaida and now ISIS. ISIS rise is an effect of what Bush did to Iraq, and what Obama continued to do in Syria and Libya. Obama-Clinton disastrous decision to interfere negatively in the ME led to the collapse of the Libyan regime. ISIS now rule Libya and export its terrorism to Europe and elsewhere.

The Syrian regime was about to collapse had it not been for the Russian. Had the Syrian regime collapsed, ISIS flags would have been over Damascus. Assad regime is brutal, but the Syrian people deserve a better regime and not ISIS.

bwt: Syria Army took back Palmyra. Important gain against ISIS.
