Bernie Sanders to host Town Hall at PAC - Appleton, Wisconsin - Tuesday 3-29
Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will appear in Appleton on Tuesday for a town hall meeting at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, according to a statement released Saturday by his campaign.
Appleton is the first of four stops the Vermont senator will make in Wisconsin. Doors for the event will open at 9:30 a.m.
The announcement comes as campaign activity ramps up in Wisconsin ahead of the April 5 primary.
Sanders' town hall at the Fox Cities PAC, 400 W. College Ave. is free and open to the public, but admission is on a first-come, first-served basis. Anyone interested in attending is encouraged to RSVP at go.berniesanders.com.
Those who attend are advised not to bring bags and to limit what they carry in to small personal items, such as car keys and cell phones. Weapons, sharp objects, chairs and signs or banners on sticks will not be allowed through security.
Following the event in Appleton, Sanders will head to Milwaukee for a rally at the Wisconsin State Fair Park. On Wednesday, Sanders will make stops in Kenosha and La Crosse.
