I don't hear about how the F-35 manufacturers are getting 'free stuff' for making aircraft that don't work. I didn't hear anything about the banks getting 'free stuff' to bail themselves out of bad investments. I don't hear about big Ag getting 'free stuff' when they are getting subsidies. I don't hear about Disney getting 'free stuff' when Obama pushes the TPP, with it's copyright extensions that will provide billions more for them for doing nothing.

So tired of the 'free stuff' crap.

7. There is no right to practically any of the things many people think there is in the US.

Only a right to be treated equally, and even that is tenuous. Slavery is still legal if somebody is convicted of a crime.

Recently there has been a shift to making just about any promise breakable if that breach can be justified on the basis of "efficiency" which basically means making some well connected rich person even richer. Most Americans are still unaware of this sea change which changes everything.
