Clinton 47%, Sanders 36% in California Primary: L.A. Times Poll

Hillary Clinton has double-digit lead over Bernie Sanders among likely voters in USC Dornsife/Los Angeles Times California Democratic primary poll released today.

Clinton leads 45%-37% when counting all eligible Democratic and independent voters
More than half of Sanders supporters expect Clinton to be president; about a third say Sanders; 12% say Donald Trump, according to poll

I don't mean to be flippant but CA has been the backwater of Dem politics until now. This is a good starting point for Bernie.

If he continues getting momentum that small lead will disappear fast. The key is "if".

...at least no one who has stated that fact. I meet Bernie supporters pretty often, and all my close friends and family are definitely pro Bernie.

If history is any indication, a poll this close this far out means Sanders should win California very handily.

it's a semi open primary. Anyone registered as a Dem or a "decline to state" can vote.

...say the Bay Area, he will clean her clock. And though L.A. is diverse, the issues he talks about will resonate throughout. After all, there were a lot of manufacturing jobs that went to China from So.Cal. alone. And yes, that pseudo lead of cherry-picked voters will be gone by end of April.
