Hello fellow Berners...polls on Friday vs. today...

I find it interesting and also very telling, that on Friday everyone on tv was saying ALL DAY LONG how Hillary was up SEVENTEEN POINTS in NY.

Today they have switched to saying, she's up by "double digits in NY". Yes, she is up by TEN points, according to their numbers. Seems to me the real story would be that Bernie closed the gap by 7 points in three days

I have a feeling it's much closer than anyone on MSM is willing to admit...here we come!

And hundreds of voters with switched registrations.

Maybe some bomb threats at polling stations.

Bill Clinton crashes his car into another.

It's gonna be a f@cking mess no matter what.

These are the same tactics used with phrasing the news that we saw in the first bush election theft.

I was appalled this a.m. when I listened to our local NPR station (WNYC). The guests were very negative about Bernie winning. It was said over and over and over that it was an impossibility. The host of the show, who I have a feeling is a Bernie supporter, seemed surprised at the negativity. It makes me wonder if someone besides the host strategically planned these guests.

Bernie was on Today Show, also. He was sharp as could be. Matt Lauer tried to trap him into a weapons/defense budget question. Made me ill. Bernie did well, though.

on edit: Here's a link to the interview. I don't l know if this clip includes the question Lauer asked him about the defense budget. It had to do with keeping up with technological advancements made by Russia and China. (can't listen to it 'cuz I'm at work)

I didn't see any of the morning shows because it's spring break and my daughter is out of school...so we slept in. I checked Morning joe online because I wanted to see what the spin of the day would be. That's when the "she's beating him by double digits in NY" comment came from. Although I heard it a couple of times yesterday too.

And regarding this segment on the Today Show. Can they be any more obvious in who they support??? Both Savannah G. and Matt were trying as hard as they could to pin something on him that would stick.

It's truly amazing to be witness to how all of this is playing out. And now more and more people can see it....the veils are absolutely being lifted for all to see.

This is about poll manipulation. So the word parsing is only part of it: they have manipulated the basis of who they interviewed.

I enjoyed my spring break last week--glad you're enjoying yours, too!

to The Young Turks, and/or Jimmy Dore. I bet they might cover it. I would do it but trying to finish up something before work.

And here's something else I noticed yesterday. George Stephanopoulos interviewed Hillary on his show. And she was extremely subdued. I distinctly noticed that she seemed beaten down. My husband and I keep thinking there is no way all of the attention Bernie is getting isn't weighing on her.

Just THIS weekend alone, there was the debate she did terrible in on Thursday, followed by Bernie at the Vatican, AND he met with the pope, which clearly they didn't think would happen. That huge 48k person concert/rally, the YUUUUUGE marches, the multiple rallies with thousands of people. You KNOW that must be a YUUUUUGE hit to her YUUUUUGE ego.

And I think that's what was portrayed in that interview. I'm going to see if I can find it and post it.

Because those 2 polls were by different pollsters with different methodologies. The only way to really see trends is when the same pollster does successive polls.

That said, hopefully by spinning Hillary being up so much, her supporters will get complacent, or some of them whose heads say Hillary but hearts say Bernie (there are a lot of these people; there was a time when I was one of them) will feel more free to vote for Bernie.

I am all for low expectations for Bernie - they can only help him.

based on their numbers they reported all day Friday (17 points up) and the numbers they reported today (double digits, also known as 10 points). All the viewer hears is she's up by 17 points on Friday and on Monday they hear she's still up by double digits. They just don't give the amount (conveniently). Yes, spin, spin and MORE spin. As usual.
