When establishment types complain about us having purity tests...

You're goddamn right we have purity tests. We want politicians who work for US, not the lobbyists or the political elites. Anyone who criticizes others for purity tests of politicians have no backbone and no standards for how our political system should function.

Clinton could do literally anything and her loyal fans would figure out how to rationalize it.

goes over the edge and creates perception problems that disintegrates public support. Frankly, I think this is the reason why neo-liberals think they have to compromise so much.

There's always a social justice carrot used to curry public support for something that results in the same failures.

i.e.: They claim that they deregulated the mortgage process so that the poor could get loans, which was disingenuous because they were also stripping the U.S.A. of good paying jobs with their trade bills. And to reward their cronies they approve public infra-structure, ensuring that tax dollars go to their cronies, or Republicans they need to appease.

What a mess.

that we actually experience that outmoded feeling of compassion, believe in taking an ethical approach (ethical - how out of date is that!) in our views and actions, and don't believe that the ends justify the means. All us dumbos who reject "pragmatist" politics ("pay to play&quot . Because we're not Machiavellian cynics, we must think we're better than everyone else - yeah, that must be it! Elitist dumbos! That whole "you're so holier than thou" line of criticism is ridiculously transparent. Any psychoanalyst would agree that it says so much more about the accuser than the accused.

they say that you must be privileged enough to have these views. I am a minority millennial who's been disadvantaged from the start, but yeah I must have a special privilege I guess.

Repubs are good at that. They all say they make 100k+ and are afraid of losing it. They have the privilege and something to lose, so they back a corrupt system. They then blame us for it.

I've had to learn ever skill imaginable just to survive. I now live on $703 a month SS.

You can bet your bottom dollar, that each and ever one who spits out that line, is far more interested in protecting their own special privilege.

It's questions asked in a job interview. We have the obligation to reference a candidate complete resume.
Personally speaking, I'm not looking for a noble to lead me, but a person of noble character to serve the people.

However, Bernie Sanders fits the bill for me.
